But what stood out the most to us was the feeling of being right at home and welcomed. We were so fortunate to have Julie and her co-host dog, Angie, on premise during our stay. When we reached out to her for help with our Great Dane who was scared to come down the steps outside she was right there to help us. Both Julie and Angie made our stay that much more special, we LOVED talking with her and when our dog FINALLY came down the stairs she played fabulously with Angie. We cannot wait to come back!

The home is in a quiet residential section of Oak Island, but very close to the beach and the many restaurants along E. Oak Island Drive. We spent the day on Bald Head Island, visited the aquarium in Ft. Fisher, played mini-golf, had ice cream walked on the beach, and finished the trip with drinks and wings at the Lazy Turtle.
