Julie and Darren are very responsive and extremely nice, and provided so many useful items to ensure our stay was comfortable: doggie bags, everything for cooking, Keurig/k-cups, games, streaming services, blankets, books to read and so on. We loved the screened porch and patio area; my elderly parents visited and they were very comfortable. The home is in a quiet residential section of Oak Island, but very close to the beach and the many restaurants along E. Oak Island Drive. We spent the day on Bald Head Island, visited the aquarium in Ft. Fisher, played mini-golf, had ice cream walked on the beach, and finished the trip with drinks and wings at the Lazy Turtle.
